Blue Green Adventures is an English-based company. The owners, Alec Quevedo and Lian Hayes (American & English) have combined their passion and knowledge of South America with their equal passion and knowledge of horses. They have come up with an adventure designed to tempt all lovers of travel, nature and animals (and certainly those with a spirit of adventure !) to this corner of Southern Chile. Alec has been guiding trips through South & Central America for seven years and has been drawn to Patagonia for four of these. He speaks fluent Spanish and possesses a useful knowledge of this area and its history. In addition he as an infectious enthusiasm for the Patagonian landscape, birdlife and people - that will benefit all those travelling with him. Lian has been riding since she was eight years old. She has owned ridden and broken in competed on (and fallen off !) countless horses during this time. Prior to realising her dream of putting together wilderness riding adventures, she followed a career in the City of London for six years. They feel sure you will share their love of this long thin country nestled between the Andes mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Chile stretches over 4,000 km in the north to the Antarctic in the south. The warmth of its people and the diversity of its landscape make it a very special place to visit and one you will surely hold dear in your hearts for many years to come. Blue Green Adventures offers 10—day riding expeditions camping in and around the spectacular Torres del Paine National Park, located in southern Chilean Patagonia.
